The Ekar rear derailleur is a completely new development for Campagnolo’s gravel group.
The rear derailleur geometry was designed in such a way that the rear derailleur with its medium-length cage works perfectly with the 3 available Ekar cassettes.
The enlarged rear derailleur rollers with 12 and 14 teeth, in conjunction with a vibration damper, ensure smooth and safe chain travel at all times.
For an easy wheel change, the rear derailleur can be decoupled from the spring tension via a cage lock in a vertical position.
The complex rear derailleur consists of a total of 70 individual parts made of aluminum 7075, aluminum 6082 and carbon composite.
For the rear derailleur screws, Campagnolo uses stainless steel for maximum durability.
